Greetings! Welcome to my Instructional Technology Portfolio! My name is Chelsey Garland and I am studying Elementary Education at Kennesaw State University. Currently, I am enrolled in ITEC 3100: Improving Learning with Technology. In this course, I will improve my technical skills and design technology-supported learning experiences for my future students. After having this class and the rest of my courses, I will be proficient in the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (ISTE-T) and able to lead students in achieving the ISTE-S. Our instructor is challenging us to use technology in ways that support student engagement, higher-order thinking and problem solving as represented within these two important sets of standards. It is my goal to graduate with strong content, pedagogical, and technical knowledge (TPACK). Please, follow my progress and see what I design throughout the semester! You can explore my work by selecting topics in the menu to the left.
