Audio
An audio file is a recording that can be played back. A podcast is a recording that is uploaded to the internet and then can be played back. Audio files can support learning in the classroom. Teachers can record lessons for students who are absent and important information that they would like to share on the class website or blog. Students can also engage in audio technology by creating their own lessons or podcasts. This will make learning a specific topic more interesting and fun!
There are multiple audio tools available for teachers to use with a free subscription. Some of these tools include Audacity, AudioBoom, and PodOMatic. I chose to use Audacity to create my sample message below. It was easy to use, and has a ton of cool features!
