Online Project
The Internet is steadily becoming a bigger and bigger aspect of the education world. That is because as teachers we can have students create their very own online projects, online collaboration sites, and students can even publish their own work. This is very beneficial for students because encouraging them to participate in these learning activities through online participation, the students become more engaged and are even more interested in learning. Online projects, collaboration, and publishing are a lot more fun than traditional learning styles. Online projects and collaboration sites allow engagement with their peers and mentors, inside and outside of the classroom, as well as internationally. Students can collect data and produce their very own original work. While these are great tools for students to use, it also has to be done in the correct manner to protect the privacy of everyone.

There are numerous types of online collaboration sites, but one I really enjoyed was KidPub. This site enables students to publish their very own written work, read other students written work, and communicate with others globally. This site has discussion opportunities, prizes, writing competition contests, and encourages the aspect of publishing student work. I think this site will help to improve student's writing skills by encouraging them to do it more frequently.it is a way to incorporate friendly competition and make writing fun. Overall, the students are learning so much and the best part about it, is that they can publish their work for their family, friends, and the world to see, giving them a sense of accomplishment and productiveness.
